What accreditations do Tier Global products have?
FSC, PEFC, BRE, UKCA, CE
How can your tiles be fitted without grout or adhesive?
We bond a magnetic base to the Regupol rubber underlay, which will secure the tile on to the metal of the raised-access flooring system, which removes any need for grout or adhesive.
Is the adhesion as strong as grout/adhesive?
The strong magnetic adhesion gives the same performance as a traditional wet laid floor.
Is the floor immediately usable upon installation?
Yes.
Am I limited to the flooring products supplied by Tier Global?
No – we can apply TIERdrylay™ and/or TIERacoustix™ to virtually any stone, porcelain or wood flooring product, including – subject to confirmation – those sourced by a client or other specifier. We are not tied to a specific or limited range.
Can TIERdrylay™ materials be used for all areas of flooring – interior/exterior?
Yes.
Can TIERdrylay™ materials be applied to a substrate as well as a cavity?
Yes – you can achieve a totally consistent finish across every area of your building – from the main floor, through to the lobby, the lift or exterior areas.
Can you supply stone and/or ceramic tiles pre-rectified?
Yes – we rectify each ceramic/stone tile to ensure it is absolutely square.
If your system does not use grout, do tiles have a ‘continuous’ appearance?
With ceramics and stone, we add an ABS edge. This is available in virtually any colour to match or contrast with the actual tile. We put a bevel around the tile which mimics a grout line.
Does Tier Global only supply magnetic-backed flooring materials
No – we can supply a huge range of flooring materials including porcelain, natural stone, wood and carpet tiles.
Can I supply my own flooring product to Tier Global for you to apply the dry-lay and/or acoustic system?
Yes
Do you have UKCA and EC approval?
Our products are tested and proven to comply with all current regulations and performance requirements, including UKCA and CE.
Can you supply a superior fire rating?
Yes, our standard rating is Cfl-s1, and we can raise this to Bfl-s1 on request
